FIRST UPDATE 08-20-09 : COLOR SCHEME

Ello guys! I am really itchy to start this build, but I have to finish a commision job first ( FAZZ ) and besides I might get lazy if I start early for Bakuc ( I love deadlines ).

I am NOT a seed fan actually...I am more of a Zeon UC fan. However, I decided to work on this kit because this will be really challenging for me...

REASONS why this will be challenging for me:

1. I am more comfortable in modding and super-detailing Zeon UC kits...simply because you can't go wrong with modding Zeon MSs ( e.g. my Kampfer and DOM )...I mean bore large holes on a gundam or seed gundam - imagine then what it would look like...UGLY most likely ( not sure though - have not tried it yet ).

2. I love :wub: Eday's work...but I thought I have to design or think of something different. But, I really love his piston mods...well, who doesn't!

3. I s*ck in scratch building...but I realized I have to SB something for this kit, to make it look a bit more special, plus a bit more competitive. yeayea

PLUS, I think a lot of modellers will be working on a Unicorn Gundam or Sinanju or even a Unicorn v.s. Sinanju...so I think opting for a less popular but new kit would be fresher ( hopefully :huh: )

I did a few color scheme study of the build...I started with a color scheme so that my mods will be according to the color scheme that I will be doing...I mean pla plating should run along the seams and the color separation and such.

i like both A and B...but i'd chose B simply bcos its more STRIKING !

ps: am scratching my head trying to imagine if the yellow parts can be replaced by other colors? in order to make this kit SCREAMS even louder? yeayea

looks like study C colour scheme is pretty close and good for IJ.

short name for Infinite Justice = IJ

i like both A & B.

A is a more comfortable color, nice n not ordinary. but just not noisy enough. might give u a slight disadvantage in competition.

B, to my liking, the purple should toned down a little. B is more daring, with higher risk of disaster, but if u manage to pull it off, this scheme has more potential of being a champion color.



C, is just a little too everybody and everyday

@ Rayloke, I see...THANKS a ton bro Ray, AGREE, actually I like A coz it's safe and subtle...B is very disastrous indeed and C is very hero ordinary color.
You vote B then...the disastrous champion color...will tone down the purple tone later and will see :thumbsup:

A or C... but original colour can make things look more original ... A looks kinda cool... B looks too bright .... C is the colour of Hi Nu lol which looks nice also..... i prefer.... emm C

i agree with rayloke ... purple is nice... but blue is nicer.. since i dono anything about competition... i choose B after reading rayloke comment.... More special... ..A also very special... LOL but too dull

dark purple to replace the red and light blue/purple to replace white. And call it Dark Justice

I dunno man, I like all three! But I'm very partial to B....
