Post The Blue Planet - A Zoids Story
Hi guys here's my most recent work. Another zoids project with zoid killer dome crab and zoid maccurtis. Was watching a doccumentary some time before and was inspired to do this piece -happy2- . They are made based on the reef crab and blue spiny lobster.

THe setting i wanted to protray is an everyday life deep beneath the sea at the reef sides , hence the "algae" and the buried zoids iguna. -sweat-

HAd quite a few incident with project where legs breaks off and the since its the first time i tried a large amount of flocking , i was aprrehensive at how it turned out. THe details are hand painted and the Maccurtis was given a marble effect to enhance the shiny shell view . -wuuuuu- THe rough surface was done by dipping the whole time in industrial thinner which i advised not to be tried on gundam models =D . Surpirsingly some parts were not dmaged even if i soak it in industrial thinner . (wonder what plastic they used)

THe base was donc's sand glue method with coral chips thrown in to give it a more realisitc feel -good-

Hope you guys enjoy the pics

It reminds me of the aquarium displays I saw in Tokyo. The Japanese like weird sea life like squids and crabs more instead of fish. =X

Creative dio and concept, I like this a lot! -good-

Its not always we get to see a zoids model around here. plus you always had it done with a dio. I respect this. they could be more weathering and glazing done to the other small parts like the mechanized parts of the leg joints for the dome but overall i appreciate your sharing of this work. maybe i should touch muy zoids too.. aint so many zoids lover here.
